Last week in Early Years we were learning all about the Hindu celebration, Diwali. The children enjoyed listening to the story of ‘Rama and Sita’ and made clay Diya Lamps in their ‘Skills’ lessons with Miss Ollier, which they will bring home this week. Also, in skills last week the children designed their own Mehndi hand patterns with Mrs Savaa and have been rehearsing their Christmas singing with Mrs Cross. 

In Maths last week the children were learning all about one more than a number and practicing their number formation. 

All children took part in the 2 minutes silence for Remembrance Day.
