2nd Match Report – Brookside V St Benedict’s –
This week’s match turned out to be a huge success by winning 18-0; we are really proud of ourselves! Despite having new team members, we had a good bond and worked together: dodging players, finding spaces and having a good shooting aim. We were all so supportive to our team and we are hoping to carry on our success throughout the season. We couldn’t be more proud of ourselves.
3rd Match Report – Brookside V Butleigh –
Congratulations to the Brookside netball team for winning 8:3 against Butleigh on Monday. In the 1st quarter, we led 1-0 and the 2nd quarter finished 5:1. By the 3rd quarter, the score was 8:3 and the final quarter was also 8:3.
We think we have some advantages: our height gives us good interceptions, good rotation of positions and we have great defending and shooting skills.
We had to work hard, due to their quick speed and defence and we are trying to work on finding better space and getting in front of our players. The Brookside netball team would like to thank all the spectators for cheering us on. Well done Brookside – let’s keep winning and make our school proud.
