What a fantastic return to school we have had! Our adventures started as we made our way to Cloud land. Our creativity shot through the roof as we found our own methods of travel. Some of us fell into a portal, some of us found a mode of transport, some of us were sucked into a book a bedtime and some even found a secret set of cloud stairs and begun to climb. Absolutely superb writing from everyone this week!

In maths, we recapped over our knowledge of number, looking at everything we knew about a number. With someone at home, how many facts can you find about the number 45?

In computing we have started to look at data handling, learning how to tally. We were fascinated by the ‘gates’ we created to represent 5. I wonder if you could create your very own tally for something, maybe your toys or colours of Lego blocks.

We had such a good day on the Friday before half term, where we explored printing with a variety of objects from around the classroom. Our end product was a picture that had to include a tree and some grass. We made a huge mess, had plenty of fun and were surprising good at tidying up!

We are all super excited about making puppets… we are designing next week and will start to create the following week!
