Wow – what an exciting World Book Day we had on Friday! We all loved dressing up in our fantastic selection of costumes, so thank you to everyone at home for helping. After a fantastic, enthusiastic singing assembly, we were allowed to choose 3 different books being read by 3 different teachers. Mrs Ashford has posted some photos on Twitter if you would like to see.

After break, we worked collaboratively with Year 4 to create some Kenning poems about book characters.  They are like riddles and we loved challenging each other to guess who they are about.  We had lots of fun guessing characters, such as a spy, a cat and Wednesday Adams. Maybe children could make one at home for you to solve!!!
