Last week in Early Years we were reading the ‘Once there was a boy’ collection by Oliver Jeffers. The children enjoyed listening to the stories and designing their own aliens and spaceships. They also had a go at writing lists of what things they would take to space with them. In maths the children were learning about positional language and explored this in a number of different ways. 

In our skills and knowledge lessons the children did coding on the iPads, they learned facts about space and our planets and enjoyed parachute games outside.
