Monday in Creativity Week

Today Tigers discovered that this week our work will all be focusing on the United Kingdom. We began by drawing things in our Sketchbooks that represent the UK to us, we had pictures of flags, carnival and King Charles.

After that we learnt about collaging and how to successfully tear, scrunch and glue in order to create the Union Jack. 

In the afternoon we discovered a Welsh artist named Helen Elliott who was told by her teacher she was bad at painting! We loved her pictures and discovered they seem to always have water in them and very bright colours. We then tried to recreate one of her paintings ourselves.
