Over the last two days, Moles have continued to learn about Spain, completing maps and Fact files through research  and the use of maps and atlases.  They have found out lots of interesting facts! They have also studied the artist Miro, particularly his magical realist work and his surrealist paintings. Can your child tell you some information about Miro and his work?  Inspired by his surrealist work, children created paintings using watercolour paints and made a clay tile, using symbols and patterns. We had lots of faun, particularly enjoying to manipulate the clay and to get a little bit messy!
