Day 2 of creativity week in Year 5! Today we finished our sketches of different Indian national emblems and finished adding watercolour to them. We ventured out to the playground in the morning to collect lots of different natural greenery – such as leaves that had fallen off of trees. After break we then used these, along with lentils, pasta and tissue paper to create some brilliant collages of the Indian flag! We even managed to find time to learn some traditional Indian dance moves and work in groups to create our own simple Indian dance.
