Creativity Week – Day 3

Today, we tried our hand at Origami. We made some origami fish and we were reminded that we have all done origami before, when we make paper aeroplanes! In the afternoon, we used PVA glue and salt to create different Japanese inspired pictures (many of us chose to draw koi carp). Once we had the glue and salt in place, we dropped watered down paint on top so it could dissolve and spread across our pictures.

If any of us finished early, we created a Japanese inspired design using either watercolours, poster paints or oil pastels. Here are two of our best independent pieces.
