It has definitely felt more like Autumn these last two weeks, please make sure your child has a coat with them each day as the weather seems to change very quickly and we do try and get out for some fresh air when we can.
In English the last two weeks the children have been listening to some stories about Paddington Bear and learning about adjectives, these are describing words but the children do need to know them as adjectives as well as being able to use them.
In Maths we have been learning about crocodiles and how they always eat big numbers. The children have been focusing on using the language greater than, less than and more than.
We have also continued our work on the weather and the seasons. We have been logging the weather each day and thinking about what activities are suitable for that weather.
