This week in Early Years, we have been learning about the Hindu festival of light ‘Diwali’. We have enjoyed making Diya lamps from clay. We will be painting our lamps next week. We also designed beautiful Mehndi hand patterns using pens and pencils, as well as making Rangoli patterns using sand and dry rice. We learnt about the importance of Remembrance Day and printed/ painted poppies using Duplo bricks and brushes. Another busy week comes to an end. We will be enjoying Nursery Rhyme Week next week. https://www.worldnurseryrhymeweek.com/
