This week, Year 4 have been learning about Sound in Science. We explored different areas of the school and used sheets to record the different sounds that we heard. We have learnt that vibrations cause sounds and so we tried to identify what was vibrating each time in order to produce each sound. 

This links in perfectly with our new Computing topic of recording and editing audio. In the next two weeks, we will write and record podcasts and edit them by cutting and chopping audio clips along with adding other sound effects. We are using 123apps.com to record and edit our sounds, which is free and the children can do at home if they want to.
