In Science, we investigated shadows. We first looked at what a shadow was and know that an opaque object will create a shadow when a light source is shining at it.  We then asked them the question, ‘How do shadows change when the distance between the object and the light source changes?’ They predicted what they thought might happen and then investigated it. We found out that the closer the object to the light source, the bigger the shadow and the further away the light source, the smaller the shadow. We discussed why we thought this might be and had some great conversations about it.
