We are at the end of another busy two weeks in Year One and it is very nearly time to start rehearsing for our Christmas performance and producing some wonderful Christmas crafts.
We had a wonderful time wearing our spotty clothes for Children in Need, thank you for all your donations.
In Science we have carried on our learning about our senses which even meant we got to taste some different foods today, the lemon certainly made us pull some funny faces!
In Maths we have finished our work on adding and taking away and started learning about shapes, we now know that there are 2D shapes and 3D shapes. The 3D shapes were quite tricky to remember so we definitely need to work on this some more.
We have also finished our History unit on toys, a huge thank you to all the parents and grandparents who answered our questions about the toys you used to play with. Having those real life experiences to talk about really enthused the children and made it real to them.
