Gophers enjoyed celebrating World Book Day by dressing up as their favourite character from a book or came to school in comfy PJ’s! What a treat 🙂 

The creativity of the costumes that entered the classroom this morning was fantastic! Thank you to all of the parents and careers for going to so much effort! We had the likes of a minion, a bionic arm that was made entirely by himself that lit up with a remote control, Wednesday Adams and Burt from Ratburger.  

We started the day by discussing books and listened to famous authors tell us about their recommended reads. Most of us had read lots of them already. Go us!

We then had a variety of book activities to take part in. Some designed new front covers for their favourite books and some made bookmarks all whilst listening to MC Grammar rap our favourite stories.

A fantastic morning of celebrating all things books!
