Science

Our new topic in science this term is rocks! We have started by looking closely at different rocks and categorising them based on their properties. We have also been testing the permeability of rocks and investigating if they let water through or not.

English

In our English lessons we have been reading the worst witch. We have been learning how to include expanded noun phrases and similes in our writing. We have written setting descriptions, character descriptions and a diary entry as Mildred Hubble!

Geography

In geography this term we are learning all about South America! We have located the countries, capital cities and oceans of South America using a map. We also researched the flags of the different countries and found out some interesting facts.

Maths

In our Maths lessons we are learning all about fractions! We have been colouring fractions, comparing unit and non-unit fractions and ordering fractions!
