Last week in Early Years the children learned the words and actions to ‘Take a walk little bear’ in our Communication and Language lessons, they then had the opportunity to create their own story maps and retell the story. The children also enjoyed designing and describing their own Bear. 

In Maths we were learning about Capacity and Weight, the children enjoyed using water and containers to identify different capacities such as ‘nearly empty’, ‘half full’, ‘full’, etc. They used balance scales to find the weight of different objects and identify heavy and light.

In our Skills lessons we learned all about different bears from around the world, designed our own bear using a doodle app on the iPads and enjoyed some Cosmic Kids Yoga.
