As Remembrance Sunday is upon us, we created our own ‘Field of Poppies’ using paper and folding them to make them look 3D. The children were very creative in the way they were folding the paper to make the poppies ‘pop’! 

We took the time beforehand to discuss those whose lives had been affected by World War 1 and then ever so fittingly we watched the Year 6 Sharing Assembly who told us even more information about it from a child’s perspective. We held a minutes silence today at 11am to reflect on this.
