In these last two weeks, Orcas have been busy (along with the rest of Y3/4) preparing and learning songs and lines for our first ever Christmas concert. I am so proud of how well everyone did with their wonderful line delivery and singing. Orcas class worked incredibly hard and their efforts really paid off.
We have also been playing games, learning to draw some Christmas surprises and creating cards and decorations. The cards came out wonderfully and made the classroom look very festive.
We were also fortunate enough to be visited by Father Christmas, who read us all the story of ‘The Night Before Christmas’. He also answered some of our questions and told us about all the work that is being done in the lead up to Christmas.
We’ve been getting lots of craft materials out but the children have been fantastic at tidying up after themselves and have been excellent in these past two weeks.
Finally, all of us in Orcas would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! The children have been working hard this term and deserve a well earned rest!
