This week in Early Years we enjoyed listening to various Oliver Jeffers stories. We decorated our own star  (that we pretended to have caught!) in skills with Mrs Redman.

This week was also Beep Beep day. This a day organised by the charity Brake to raise awareness of road safety with very young children. The children learnt about the importance of travelling in a car seat and also the importance of holding an adult’s hand when crossing a road. 

Mrs Savva helped the children to learn the early skilling of coding, using the Code-a-pillar app on the iPads. 

Our Maths focus this week has been on numbers 11 – 20 and our Bee Challenge activity was practising writing the alphabet in capital letters.
