Year 5 are in the midst of learning about the Vikings and thoroughly enjoying doing so! So, what else would we do other than make a Viking boardgame!? Our boardgames had to be centred around Viking life, and some of us even had a go at writing in Viking runes! Below are some pictures of our not quite yet finished boardgames – watch out for a post when they’re all done!

Year 5 have had some exciting visitors staying with us this week – caterpillars! We’ve watched as they’ve grown tremendously in size and changed colour, and were really hoping to see them in their chrysalises before half term. Unfortunately, they weren’t quite ready yet.  We’re excited to see them in their chrysalises when we get back and who knows – they might have turned into butterflies!
