In science this half term, we are learning all about forces. This week, Year 3 were investigating friction by conducting a fair test. We tested the friction of different materials by seeing how high the ramp would have to be to move the toy car.  We found that the rougher, bumpier surfaces created more friction and the ramp needed to be higher for the car to move.

Road safety talk

This week, Year 3 had a special visit to discuss road safety. We all learnt how important it is to stop, look, listen and think before crossing the road.

PE

In PE this week, Year 3 have been thinking about working as a team. The children were set a challenge to get a hula-hoop around their groups without breaking the circle. We all worked well together to solve the challenge!
