Last week Early Years enjoyed listening to different versions of The Gingerbread man story. 

We enjoyed designing and decorating mini gingerbread people in our Skills and Knowledge lessons. On the Maths table, we were able to match Gingerbread people to the correct baking tray (matching buttons and numerals). We also loved playing ‘Farms’ in the small world area. 

We carried out a Science experiment looking at what happens to a gingerbread person when it is immersed into 3 different liquids. We made a verbal prediction before carrying out the experiment as a small group. It was a lovely busy week enjoyed by all.
