This week to celebrate British Science Week, we have been investigating different connections in science.
We started the week looking at ways people can connect using different forms of communication. To find a different way of communicating, we made string telephones! We had lots of fun passing on messages and testing which length of string gave the clearest and loudest sound.
Later in the week, we thought about connections in our ecosystem. Everyone in the class had a different part of our ecosystem such as worm, fox, caterpillar, owl and brambles. We then passed a ball of string between us when we found a connection. We ended up with a web of connections and learnt how important every part of our ecosystem is.
