What a busy last week we have had in Early Years. The children have enjoyed creating lots of Easter crafts, using paint and spatulas to make chicks, cotton wool and paint to make sheep, corks and paint to make an Easter bunny and finger-painting Easter baskets. 

Also, in our child initiated play the children have explored weight and capacity and enjoyed using the interactive whiteboard to order numbers up to 20. Despite the weather we did manage to get outside where the children practised their balancing skills. 

In our ‘Skills and Knowledge’ lessons the children have been looking at maps and using Google Earth to look at places around the world. They have really enjoyed making and eating fruit kebabs that they designed last week.
