Today, we ventured to Spain! Well, in our minds anyway. We explored the world map to find the seven continents and then identified both the UK and Spain. Did you know they were both in Europe? So we zoomed into Europe to identify the UK and Spain.

Our first adventure took us to discover Pablo Picasso. Did you know his full name actually consists of 20 different names? He was the first artist to invent Cubism Art. This means that Picasso used to enjoy taking a realistic image and messing around with it to make it abstract. 

This afternoon, it was our turn to create a Picasso style face. First, we collaged the face and added the details in a random way. Second, using Doodle Buddy we created our own electronic pictures using shapes and lines.

I wonder what tomorrow will hold…
