Tuesday’s creativity 

Today we began by exploring the patterns of Tartan and discovering why it is important to people from Scotland. The children then all used their weaving skills to create some beautiful pieces of art.

After lunch we learnt about Orla Kiely, a fashion designer who is famous for her prints and repeating patterns. We drew our own versions before recreating them on a bigger scale using potatoes and paint.
